Save the Date for a fun community event with the Manistee Conservation District.
Bring leftover or saved seeds from your gardens to share and swap with other growers in our community.
Share knowledge and tips with others and leave with inspiration for your 2024 gardens.
All levels of gardening experience are welcome. Activities include:
– Free seeds
– Prize drawing
– Informational and educational materials from the Manistee Conservation District, Spirit of the Woods Garden Club, Going to Seed & other community organizations
– A chance to learn & share knowledge with other growers
– Nature craft station
– Storytime for kids at 11 a.m. with Chrissy from Manistee Main Library.
What to bring:
Vegetable, herb, or flower seeds to share & swap with others (no invasive species, please!)
Seeds can be harvested from your garden (please label) or store bought.
Seeds are not a requirement to attend. There will be free seeds to take home even if you don’t have any to bring!
This event is free and open to the public.
