Welcome to the Midnight Library!
People ages 18 years and older are welcome to visit the Manistee Main Library from 6 p.m. to 12 midnight.
This is your chance to visit our 119-year-old Carnegie building after hours and take part in special events that explore your family history, the supernatural and dark themes from the past and present.
The following events & activities require registration.

6:30 p.m Rattle the Bones: Genealogy Workshop for Adults
8:00 p.m Paranormal Investigations with G.R.A.S.P.P. for Adults
9:30 p.m. Macabre Manistee County
13-minute ghost tours will be taking place from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m – 12 midnight. Tours can accommodate parties of 4.
Registration for the ghost tours will open on October 20.
Last but not least, enjoy cider and ghost stories while browsing our reportedly haunted shelves from 6 p.m. to midnight!
