Audubon Page Turning & Tea Party
July 3rd, 3:00 PM at Manistee Main Library
The Manistee Main Library is the proud caretaker of a pre-civil war, double-elephant folio of “The Birds of America.”
This event begins with a history talk covering the origin of this artistic treasure including the story about its printing and how this copy came to Manistee.
Then we’ll don our white gloves and unlock the case for a live page turning. Ice tea and lemonade will be served following the event.
This event is free and open to the public, no registration or library card required. Space is limited.
