We’ll be reading the novel “Okay For Now”by Gary D. Schmidt, our pick for Manistee County Reads.
A National Book Award finalist, the historical drama has elements of comedy and romance, and is often described as heartbreaking yet funny. The plot also features a rare copy of “The Birds of America” at a small local library just like ours! In the story, the pages mysteriously go missing one by one.
This event is free and open to the public. No library card required. Beer is not included but available for purchase. Reservations are required.
