Pack your camp chairs and blankets for Campfire Stories in the Story Park! It’s like an outdoor storytime for history enthusiasts!

We’ll regale you with tales of Manistee’s past.

We remind you that the vast majority of campfire stories are traditionally told to provide thrills and chills.These stories are not for the faint of heart!

This is the last Campfire Story of the season, and you don’t want to miss this one.

Chrissy will discuss hot times in the city including destructive fires, shocking scandals, raging tempers and other historical accounts of “wicked behavior.”

Seating will not be provided, so please bring your own lawn chairs, camp chairs or comfy blankets to sit on.

The library is closed during this event, restrooms will not be available on site.

Intended for adults, this event is free and open to the public. No library card or registration required.
