June 6, 7:00 PM in the Manistee County Library Story Park
Pack your camp chairs and blankets for Campfire Stories in the Story Park! It’s like an outdoor storytime for history enthusiasts!
During these monthly events, we’ll regale you with tales of Manistee’s past.
We remind you that the vast majority of campfire stories are traditionally told to provide thrills and chills. These stories are not for the faint of heart!
In June, Chrissy from Manistee Main will discuss the unique history and reported hauntings of two of Manistee’s oldest cultural institutions– the Ramsdell Theatre and Manistee Main Library.
There will be a very limited supply of chairs, so we encourage you to bring your own lawn chairs, camp chairs or comfy blankets.
Please note that the library building is closed during this event. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled. Please check our Facebook page for updates on weather cancellation.
Intended for adults, this event is free and open to the public. No library card or registration required.
